Ms. Lorelei Bari is a dancer and teacher whose experience in the ballet pedagogy leads to remarkable results. Her continuous desire for improvement, for information and for assimilating the newest directions in ballet and dance pedagogy prompted her to choose theMA in Education (Dance Teaching)
 module of the program offered by the Royal Academy of Dance.

She was formed for nine years in the Choreography High school in Bucharest, Romania, where she studied disciplines such as classical dance, pas de deux, character dance, Romanian dance, modern dance, ballet history, piano, art of acting. After graduation, she continued her professional development and improvement on the stages of the Bucharest National Opera and of other theatres in Romania and abroad.

 

From the beginning of her career, she discovered her inclination and aptitude for teaching, which she has cultivated through a sustained activity in both the ballet companies in which he worked, and in the schools where she gave ballet classes. When she founded her own ballet school, she conceived a program and her own teaching method, through which she targeted the formation of dancers with multiple professional and well consolidated training.

 

Her method, which is based on the Vaganova method is tailored to the age and particularities of individual children that she trains. Her communication skills, her capacity to adapt to the mental and emotional level of her students, and her ability to stimulate their interest in dance were the main ways that she used to achieve the expected results: the recognition, through national and international awards from prestigious competitions as YAGP; Tanzolymp-Berlin; Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition, New York; Odyssee Concours Lyon France; Young Stars Ballet Competition, Cluj-Napoca, Romania; Livorno in Danza; World Ballet Competition Open, Sibiu, Romania; Dance World Cup, Brighton and Portugal; Dance Star, Croatia.

 

Good preparation gave her students the opportunity to obtain full scholarships to study at the Ballet Academy Kozlova in New York, Academy of Ballet of the Vienna State Opera, or to win scholarships at the stages organized by Joffrey Ballet School, USA, Staatliche Balletschule Berlin, Russian Ballet College, Sorrento Campus Summer School or National Conservatory Dance School Lisbon, Portugal. Moreover, some of her students were accepted to complete their studies in the schools of the highest professional level: Bolshoi Academy, Moscow, Staatliche Balletschule, Berlin, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille, Zurich Ballet Academy.

The consistency with which she followed her pedagogical and artistic goals was always stimulated by a creative spirit and critical and analytical skills, which have enabled continuous improvement of her working methods.
