Nina Gedevanovna Ananiashvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia.

In 1976 she entered the Moscow Choreographic Institute where her main teacher was Natalia Zolotova. She graduated and entered the Bolshoi Theater.

Very fast she rose to become a prima ballerina. She, along with Andris Liepa, was the first Soviet dancer to appear as a guest performer with the New York City Ballet in 1988 (she had danced in "Raymonda Variations", "Apollo" and "Symphony in C" there).In subsequent years, Nina Ananiashvili became an international ballet superstar. Ananiashvili also had the honor of being the first Soviet ballerina to perform with the Royal Danish Ballet, and it was considered a particular triumph that she danced in such pieces as La Sylphide and Napoli, by the Danish master August Bournonville, who is considered a national treasure by many.

During her career she had performed in many ballet theaters in various countries (in most of the places she performed as a guest artist): Bulgaria, Denmark, Argentina, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Hungary Italy, Japan, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

She performed well in several competitions:

In 1980 she won the Gold Medal in the junior group of the 10th International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria;
In 1981 she and Andris Liepa won Grand Prix in the junior group of the 4th International Ballet Competition in Moscow (Andris Liepa received the Gold Medal there).
In 1985 she won the Gold Medal in the senior group at the 5th International Ballet Competition in Moscow; in 1986 she and Andris Liepa were awarded the Grand Prix at the 3rd USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi, United States.

She became a principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre in 1993, and in 1999 she joined the Houston Ballet with that same rank. She made her debut with the Boston Ballet in that company's Russian-American production of Swan Lake. Accomplished style and rare dramatic talent have made Nina Ananiashvili one of the mostly well known dancers of modern times

Since September 2004, she has been artistic director of the National Ballet Ensemble of Georgia.

Winner of the 1st prize of the National Superior Conservatory of Paris for Music and Dance, Jacques Marsa was a principal ballet dancer of the Paris Opera under the guidance of Mrs. Claude Bessy.

Since then he was organizing shows and festivals in Arles, Nimes, Nisa, Sete, Narbonne, Menton, Dax, etc inviting personalities from the dance world such as: Claire Motte, Georges Piletta – stars od the Paris Opera, but also Claude Devulpian, Florence Vlerc, Richard Duquesnoy, Josselyn Bosser, Martine Vuillermoz, Guy Vareilhes, etc.

In 1974 he founds his own company– Horizons Danse Companie – formed out of 12 dancers among which we name Dominique Bagouet as soloist.
With this company he participated in many festivals (for exemple Festival du Theatre des Champs Elysees – art director Youli Algaroff)
In 1976 he becomes soloist and maestro-educator at the Opera of Strasbourg under the lead of Peter Van Dyck
In 1979 he is invited as ballet maestro and professor at Companie du Ballet de Bale – art director Heinz Spoerli
In 1981 he sets up his own ballet school at Verneuil sur Seine
In 2000 he collaborates with MAURICE BEJART for the setting up on stage the ballet “l’Enfant Roi” at Chateau de Versailles

Oliver Matz received his ballet training at the State Ballet School Berlin. He then joined the Ballet Company of Deutsche Staatsoper, where he became leading soloist. Oliver is the recipient of numerous national and international awards such as the bronze medal at the International Ballet Competition in Varna, the first prize at the International Ballet Competition in Helsinki and the Gold Medal at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson. He made guest appearances around the world and worked with international personalities such as Vladimir Vassiljev, Rudolph Nurejev, Pierre Lacotte, Hans van Manen, William Forsythe, Roland Petit, Uwe Scholz, Ray Barra and Patrice Bart. He is an honorary member of the German State Opera Berlin and one of the internationally most acclaimed German dancers. Since 2004 he has been working in leading positions at Zurich Dance Academy, the professional Ballet School of Zurich University of the Arts in Switzerland. He also acts very successfully as teacher for Classical Male Dance and Classical Repertoire Zurich Dance Academy. His students achieved top places and won many prizes at national and international competitions.
